Roughly 1/3 of Underclassmen went undrafted in 2017 NFL Draft
According to NFL.com, 95 underclassmen declared for the 2017 NFL Draft and 8 additional underclassmen who met the requirements to graduate also applied for a total of 103 underclassmen. Of the 95 prospects 29 went undrafted, 46 of 95 went 5th round or later , about 48 percent. Of the additional 8 that graduated but had eligibility remaining; 3 went in the first round, 1 in the 3rd, 1 in the 4th, 2 in the 6th and 1 undrafted.
